Unilite HL-8R - headlamp

The rechargeable Unilite HL-8R headlamp offers a maximum output of 475 lumens from two SMD LED diodes, and also features a large central SMD LED diode with 250 lumens that can be used independently. The sturdy HL-8R construction is dust and water resistant to IP65 and impact resistant to IK07. It charges easily via USB Type-C. Included are a fully adjustable non-slip silicone headband and a Type-C charging cable.

Operation and Charging of the Unilite HL-8R Headlamp

The HL-8R headlamp features a sensor control switch that allows turning the light on and off by waving your hand in front of the diode (sensor range approx. 10 cm), ideal for tasks where your hands might be dirty. If you do not want to use the sensor control, there is also a conventional button for on/off. To activate sensor control, press the left button; a red indicator light will confirm activation. Then, waving your hand in front of the sensor will toggle the light on or off either in high mode or spot output mode, recalling the last used mode with the main button. To exit sensor mode, press the sensor button again. The right button controls the headlamp normally, cycling through spot, low, medium, high, and off. If the light stays on in any mode for more than 5 seconds, the next press will turn it off and the last used mode will be saved in memory — this mode will activate next time the lamp is switched on. The built-in 1500 mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery provides 4 hours runtime at the brightest mode. Charging is fast and easy via USB Type-C; simply insert the cable into the bottom of the lamp (with the lamp off) and the other end into a USB power source with 1A output. A red LED indicates charging, green means charging is complete, which takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

High Visibility

The high visibility technology (bright green color of the headlamp) ensures you are always seen, useful for work in industrial environments and elsewhere. The fully adjustable non-slip silicone strap helps keep the lamp securely on your head or helmet. The tiltable mount allows the HL-8R to be angled downwards by 60°, so you can direct the light where it is needed.
