Unilite HL-4R - headlamp

The rechargeable Unilite HL-4R headlamp offers a maximum output of 275 lumens from a high-performance white Cree LED. In addition to the white LED, the HL-4R also has two 5mm red LED lights that provide red light to preserve night vision, as well as a flashing red light to attract attention and a red SOS light for emergencies. The HL-4R is powered by a built-in 1800 mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery and has a runtime of 6 hours and 30 minutes on high mode. Charging the unit is easy — simply plug the micro USB cable into the side of the headlamp and the other end into a USB port or wall adapter. A red LED indicates charging is in progress, and a green LED signals charging is complete. Full charging takes about 3 hours.

The button on the top cycles through the white light settings, each press switching between high, medium, and low modes. To change the red light, press and hold the button, then cycle through steady red, flashing red, and red SOS with each press. If left in any setting for more than 3 seconds, further button presses are disabled. The last color setting is saved in memory. The pivoting mount allows you to angle the headlamp downwards by 45°, so you can direct the light where you need it most.

Thanks to high visibility technology, you’ll always be seen, which is useful for maintenance work and cleaning cars. The fully adjustable, non-slip headband with a silicone insert helps keep the headlamp securely on your head or safety helmet. Another useful feature is the included 3M VHB helmet mount, allowing you to securely attach the headlamp to industrial or sports helmets. The handy storage pouch is great for protecting the lamp when not in use, keeping everything together and safe from scratches.
