PPF Mini Set – Liquid Only
Compact set of liquid products for preparation and installation of protective PPF film. Ideal for smaller applications or as a supplement to the main equipment. Contains cleaning isopropyl alcohol (IPA), a mixture of IPA with distilled water, installation shampoo, and pure distilled water. The set does not include a squeegee – intended for users who already have tools or choose them separately.

Set contents (150 ml bottles):

• 1× Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) 99%

• 1× IPA + distilled water mixture

• 1× Installation shampoo for PPF films

• 1× Distilled water

Suitable for: application of PPF film on smaller surfaces, interior parts, or as replacement liquids for professional use.

PPF JEM Application:

• If possible, remove parts from the vehicle that might release dirt during application (badges, trims, logos, lights, handles, etc.)
• Wash the vehicle very thoroughly. Remove all contamination from the paint (tar, airborne rust, adhesive residues from protective films used during transport of a new vehicle, etc.)
• Once positioned for application, it is advisable to use wheel covers and connect the vehicle to a maintenance power source.
• Try to minimize dust around the vehicle during work and avoid wearing clothing that could release lint.
• Dry PPF after removing the backing layer is charged with static electricity, so it is important to work so that dust particles do not stick to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and application technique to avoid damaging the adhesive and prevent unwanted streaks, bubbles, adhesive cracks, etc.
• Degrease the edges of the part to be glued with pure IPA and decontaminate each part before gluing with soft clay.
• Lightly spray the glued part and both sides of the PPF with a shampoo and distilled water solution (distilled water does not leave spots on the vehicle after drying). Add 1ml shampoo per 500ml water (more shampoo is suitable at higher workshop temperatures or when applying to a complicated part).
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the paint. Therefore, it is necessary to rinse it with clean water, preferably distilled water, poured from a pressure sprayer in larger quantities.
• For positioning and stretching the material, hold the corners of the film on surrounding parts and rinse the shampoo solution preferably always outside the part on which the PPF is applied (e.g., hold the hood on fenders and below on lights and bumper).
• Carefully squeegee excess shampoo solution so that no residue or bubbles remain, and rinse edges with clean water.
• If you need to fix the material immediately and permanently, use a distilled water and IPA solution in a 1:3 ratio.
• Dry the glued film with a towel and check that no dirt or water residue is under the film.
• Trim excess material as needed and according to the type of part by cutting 3-4 mm for folding over the edge.
• Fold immediately using a nonwoven fabric and a heat gun. Gradually push out all water from the edges while simultaneously heating the adhesive side with a heat gun set to 65°C.
• You can hand over the vehicle after 24-48 hours depending on the season.
