JEM PPF Application:

• Thoroughly clean the vehicle's interior. Remove all dirt, dust, stickers, etc.
• Minimize dust in the vehicle's interior during work and avoid wearing clothing that may release lint or fibers.
• Dry PPF is electrostatically charged after removing the backing layer, so it's important to work in a way that prevents dust particles from adhering to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and application technique to avoid damaging the adhesive and causing unwanted streaks, bubbles, or tears.
• Degrease the part to be adhered using pure isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
• Lightly spray the part to be adhered and both sides of the PPF with a solution of shampoo and distilled water (distilled water does not leave stains after drying). Add 1–1.5 ml of shampoo to 500 ml of water.
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the paint. Therefore, it is necessary to rinse it with clean water, preferably distilled, poured from a pressure sprayer.
• Carefully squeegee out the excess shampoo solution to ensure no residue or bubbles remain.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check for any contaminants or water residues under the film.
