JEM Shampoo/H₂O Solution 300ml

Use of water and shampoo solution during PPF film installation

PPF JEM Application:

• Thoroughly clean the interior. Remove all dirt, dust, stickers, etc.
• Try to eliminate dust in the car interior while working, and do not wear clothing that may shed lint or fibers.
• Dry PPF, once the backing layer is removed, is charged with static electricity, so it is important to work in a way that prevents dust particles from sticking to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and installation technique to avoid damaging the adhesive, which could result in unwanted streaks, bubbles, adhesive tears, etc.
• Degrease the part to be laminated with clean IPA.
• Lightly spray the part to be laminated and both sides of the PPF with a solution of shampoo and distilled water (distilled water does not leave spots after drying in the interior); use 1–1.5ml of shampoo per 500ml of water.
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the surface. Therefore, it must be rinsed off with clean water, ideally again distilled and applied from a pressure sprayer.
• Carefully squeegee out the excess shampoo solution to ensure there are no residual solution or bubbles left behind.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check that there are no impurities or water residues under the film
