Basic set of three essential liquids for preparing and installing protective PPF film. The PPF Trio Set is ideal for those looking for clean, pre-mixed solutions without unnecessary additives. It contains isopropyl alcohol for degreasing, installation shampoo for easy bonding, and distilled water as a universal helper for dilution or direct application.

Set contents (3x300 ml):

• Isopropyl Alcohol 99% – for thorough degreasing of the surface before film application

• Installation Shampoo – facilitates handling of the film, ensures smooth sliding

PPF JEM Application:

• If possible, remove parts from the vehicle that might release contaminants during bonding (badges, trims, logos, lights, handles, etc.)
• Thoroughly wash the vehicle. Remove all contaminants from the paint (asphalt, airborne rust, glue residues from protective film used during transport of a new vehicle, etc.)
• After positioning the vehicle at the application site, it is advisable to use wheel covers and connect the vehicle to a maintenance power source.
• Try to minimize dust around the vehicle while working and avoid wearing clothing that may release lint.
• Dry PPF, after peeling off the carrier layer, is charged with static electricity, so it is important to work in a way that prevents dust particles from sticking to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and bonding technique to avoid damaging the adhesive and causing unwanted streaks, bubbles, adhesive tears, etc.
• Degrease the edges of the part to be bonded with clean IPA and decontaminate each part with soft clay before bonding.
• Lightly spray the bonded part and both sides of the PPF with a shampoo and distilled water solution (distilled water leaves no stains on the vehicle after drying). Add 2 - 2.5 ml of shampoo to 500 ml of water (more shampoo is recommended at higher workshop temperatures or when bonding complex parts).
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the paint. Therefore, it must be rinsed off with clean water, preferably distilled water, poured into a pressure sprayer in larger quantities.
• To position and stretch the material, grab the corners of the film on surrounding parts and rinse the shampoo solution preferably off the part to which the PPF is applied (e.g., the hood is held on the fenders and below on the lights and bumper).
• Carefully squeegee off excess shampoo solution to avoid residue or bubbles anywhere, and rinse edges with clean water.
• If you need to fix the material firmly immediately, use a distilled water and IPA solution in a 1:3 ratio.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check for any dirt or water residues under the film.
• Trim excess material as needed and depending on the type of part by 3-4 mm for folding over the edge.
• Immediately fold using a non-woven fabric and a heat gun. Gradually push out all water from the edges while heating the adhesive side with a heat gun set to 65°C.
• The vehicle can be handed over after 24-48 hours depending on the season.
