A complete kit for the preparation and application of protective PPF film, ideal for smaller areas or interior parts of the vehicle. Includes four carefully blended application fluids and a practical squeegee for convenient film installation. Suitable for both beginners and experienced users who want everything they need in a compact package.

JEM PPF Application:

• If possible, remove parts from the vehicle that could release dirt during installation (badges, trims, emblems, lights, handles, etc.)
• Thoroughly wash the vehicle. Remove all surface contamination (tar, iron dust, adhesive residues from protective films used during new car transport, etc.)
• Once the vehicle is positioned at the application site, it is advisable to cover the wheels and connect the vehicle to a maintenance power supply.
• Minimize dust around the vehicle while working and avoid wearing lint-shedding clothing.
• Dry PPF peeled from its backing layer is statically charged, so work carefully to prevent dust particles from settling on the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and technique to prevent damage to the adhesive and avoid unwanted streaks, bubbles, adhesive cracks, etc.
• Degrease the edges of the part to be wrapped with pure IPA and decontaminate each part using soft clay before wrapping.
• Lightly spray the part and both sides of the PPF with a solution of shampoo and distilled water (distilled water prevents water spots on the surface). Mix 1 ml shampoo per 500 ml water (use more shampoo for higher workshop temperatures or complex parts).
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but does not activate the adhesive. It must be flushed out with clean water, ideally again distilled, poured in larger amounts using a pressure sprayer.
• To set and stretch the material, hold the film corners on adjacent parts and always flush the shampoo solution off the part being wrapped if possible (e.g., anchor the hood to fenders, bottom to headlights and bumper).
• Thoroughly squeegee out excess shampoo solution to avoid any leftover liquid or bubbles, and flush the edges with clean water.
• If you need to bond the film firmly right away, use a solution of distilled water and IPA in a 1:3 ratio.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check for any dirt or water residue under the film.
• Trim excess material as needed and according to the part type, leaving 3–4 mm for wrapping around edges.
• Immediately wrap using nonwoven cloth and heat gun. Push out all water from the edges while simultaneously heating the adhesive side with a heat gun set to 65 °C.
• The vehicle can be handed over after 24–48 hours depending on the season.
