Important – Read Before Application

• If possible, remove from the vehicle all elements that may release contaminants during bonding (emblems, trims, markings, headlights, handles, etc.)
• Thoroughly wash the vehicle. Remove all contaminants from the paint (tar, iron deposits, adhesive residues from transport protective films, etc.)
• After positioning the vehicle in the application area, it is recommended to cover the wheels and connect the vehicle to a power source to maintain battery voltage.
• During the work, minimize dust in the vehicle's environment and avoid clothing that sheds fibers or dust.
• The dry PPF film after removing the protective layer is electrostatically charged – it is important to prevent dust adhesion on the adhesive side of the film.
• Use the correct solution and bonding technique to avoid damaging the adhesive layer – otherwise, unsightly streaks, bubbles, or cracks may occur.
• Degrease the edges of the element with clean IPA, and before application, decontaminate each element using a soft clay bar.
• Apply a mild shampoo and distilled water solution (distilled water does not leave stains after drying) to the surface and both sides of the PPF film. For 500 ml of water, add 1 ml of shampoo (use more shampoo if the ambient temperature is higher or the shapes are more complex).
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during film positioning but does not activate it. Therefore, rinse thoroughly with clean water (preferably distilled) using a pressure sprayer.
• To tension the film, grab its corners, encompassing adjacent elements, and push the shampoo solution out beyond the bonded element (for example, tension the hood through the fenders and the lower edges of the headlights or bumper).
• Remove excess solution thoroughly to avoid bubbles or residues. Rinse the edges with clean water.
• If immediate and permanent bonding is necessary, use a distilled water and IPA solution in a 1:3 ratio.
• Dry the film with a cloth and check for any trapped contaminants or water.
• Trim excess material, leaving 3–4 mm for wrapping around edges.
• Wrap edges using a felt pad and a heat gun. Blow out all water from the edges and heat the adhesive side simultaneously with a heat gun set to 650 °C.
• The vehicle can be handed over to the client after 24–48 hours depending on the season.
