PPF Application JEM:

• Wash the interior very carefully. Remove all dirt, dust, stickers, etc.
• Try to minimize dust in the vehicle interior while working and avoid working in clothes that may shed lint or hairs.
• Dry PPF is statically charged after removing the carrier layer, so it is important to work in a way that prevents dust particles from sticking to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and bonding technique to avoid damaging the adhesive and causing unwanted streaks, bubbles, cracks in the adhesive, etc.
• Degrease the part to be bonded with clean IPA.
• Lightly spray a solution of shampoo and distilled water on the part to be bonded and on both sides of the PPF (distilled water does not leave stains on the interior after drying). Use 1–1.5 ml of shampoo per 500 ml of water.
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the paint. Therefore, it must be rinsed off with clean water, preferably again distilled water poured in a pressure sprayer.
• Carefully squeegee off excess shampoo solution to avoid any residue or bubbles.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check that there is no dirt or water residue under the film anywhere.
