Must Read Before Application

• If possible, remove parts from the vehicle that could release dirt during application (badges, trims, inscriptions, lights, handles, etc.)
• Wash the vehicle very carefully. Remove all contamination on the paint (asphalt, flying rust, adhesive residues from protective film used during new vehicle transport, etc.)
• After positioning for application, it is advisable to use wheel covers and connect the vehicle to a maintenance power source.
• Try to eliminate dust around the vehicle during work and do not apply in clothing that could release lint.
• Dry PPF is charged with static electricity after removing the backing layer, so it is important to work in a way that prevents dust particles from sticking to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and application technique to prevent damage to the adhesive and thus the formation of unwanted streaks, bubbles, tears in the adhesive, etc.
• Degrease the edges of the bonded part with pure IPA and decontaminate each part before bonding with a soft clay.
• Lightly spray the bonded part and both sides of the PPF with a solution of shampoo and distilled water (distilled water will not leave spots on the vehicle after drying) - add 2 - 2.5ml of shampoo to 500ml of water (more shampoo is suitable at higher temperatures in the workshop or when bonding a complex part)
• The shampoo solution will protect the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the given part, but the adhesive will not be activated on the paint. Therefore, it is necessary to wash it off with clean water, preferably distilled again, poured into a pressure sprayer in a larger quantity.
• For positioning and stretching the material, we catch the corners of the film on surrounding parts and wash out the shampoo solution if possible always outside the part to which the PPF is applied (we catch the hood on the fenders and at the bottom on the lights and bumper)
• Carefully squeegee out excess shampoo solution to ensure there are no solution residues or bubbles anywhere, wash the edges with clean water
• If you need to secure the material immediately, use a solution of distilled water and IPA in a 1:3 ratio
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check if there are any dirt or water residues under the film
• Trim excess material as needed and according to the type of part, 3-4mm for folding over the edge.
• Fold immediately using non-woven fabric and a hot air gun. Gradually squeeze out all the water from the edges and simultaneously heat the side where the adhesive is with a hot air gun set to 650°C
• The vehicle can be handed over after 24-48 hours depending on the season
