PDLC Electrically Switchable Smart Film (1 m²)

PDLC film (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal), often referred to as smart film or electrically switchable film. This is a special film that allows smooth switching between transparent and frosted (opaque) states using electrical voltage. It is mainly used in architecture, interiors, automotive, and commercial applications where instant privacy control is required.

How It Works

The core of PDLC film is a layer of liquid crystals placed between two transparent conductive layers.

Without Voltage (OFF)
Liquid crystal molecules are randomly oriented, scattering light, and the film appears frosted / opaque.

With Voltage (ON)
The electric field aligns the molecules, light passes through almost without scattering, and the film becomes transparent.

Switching occurs in milliseconds.
