JEM Solution Shampoo/H₂O 300ml

Use of water and shampoo solution during PPF film installation

• allows for precise placement of the PPF film
• prevents immediate adhesion
• protects the film from damage

PPF JEM Application:

• Thoroughly clean the interior. Remove all dirt, dust, stickers, etc.
• Try to eliminate dust in the vehicle interior during work and avoid wearing clothing that may release lint or fibers.
• Dry PPF is electrostatically charged after peeling off the backing layer, so it is important to prevent dust particles from sticking to the adhesive side.
• Use the correct solution and application technique to avoid damaging the adhesive, which could cause unwanted streaks, bubbles, tears, etc.
• Degrease the surface to be covered with clean IPA (isopropyl alcohol).
• Lightly spray the part to be covered and both sides of the PPF with a shampoo and distilled water solution (distilled water won’t leave stains after drying). Use 1–1.5 ml of shampoo per 500 ml of water.
• The shampoo solution protects the adhesive during handling and positioning of the PPF on the part, but the adhesive won't be activated on the paint. Therefore, it must be rinsed off with clean water, preferably distilled again, using a pressure sprayer.
• Carefully squeegee out the excess shampoo solution to ensure no residue or bubbles remain.
• Dry the applied film with a towel and check that there are no contaminants or water residues under the film.
