Ceramic Protection for PPF Films Gyeon Q2 PPF EVO (50 ml)
Gyeon Q² PPF EVO is a unique ceramic protection specifically designed for protecting PPF films. It is a very easy-to-apply and flexible single-layer ceramic coating suitable for all types of PPF films, including wrap films. This coating is designed to extend the self-cleaning properties of PPF films, provide high durability, and maximize the hydrophobic properties of any film applied on the car. Gyeon Q² PPF EVO is engineered to bond with all modern paint protection films, including self-healing ones. The coating significantly enhances color on both glossy and matte surfaces without changing the shade. The unique formula of this protective coating contains fluorine-modified polysilazanes, making it the most durable hydrophobic coating currently available for PPF films. The surface remains very smooth after application, and subsequent maintenance is extremely easy. Gyeon Q² PPF EVO can be applied on both matte and glossy films. After application, it creates a smooth protective layer without compromising the self-healing ability of the PPF film itself. All new EVO ceramic protections from Gyeon can be applied outdoors, provided ideal conditions such as dry weather, relatively windless environment, and shade.

How to Use
-
Before starting, watch the original Gyeon YouTube video.
-
Never apply the coating in direct sunlight or on a hot car surface.
-
Work in a well-ventilated workshop or garage; never in a closed small garage.
-
Drying time depends on air temperature and humidity; higher temperatures speed up drying.
-
For indoor and outdoor application, work within 15 to 25 °C (59 to 77 °F).
-
Thoroughly wash the car with a high-quality shampoo without added gloss or protection agents—use a pure car shampoo.
-
Decontaminate the surface from fallout rust, tar, and insect residues. If the film is newly applied, skip decontamination.
-
Recommended decontamination products: Gyeon Q²M Iron REDEFINED, Gyeon Q²M Tar REDEFINED, and Gyeon Q²M Bug&Grime.
-
For protective PPF and wrap films, use Q²M Tar carefully: never spray directly on the surface but onto a microfiber cloth, then apply it gently. Avoid edges as Tar can damage the adhesive.
-
After decontamination, wash the car again, rinse thoroughly, and dry with a quality drying towel.
-
The car must be completely dry before application.
-
There must be no residual water from washing during application.
-
A crucial last step is thorough degreasing of the surface, preferably twice using Gyeon Q²M Prep and a long-fiber microfiber cloth such as Purestar Grass Buffing Towel.
-
Now the surface is properly prepared for ceramic coating application; without this step, the coating will not perform correctly!
-
Always wear protective rubber gloves during application—health comes first!
-
Shake the bottle well before use.
-
Apply the coating onto the provided applicator sponge.
-
Use crosshatch or circular motions to apply on areas up to 50 x 50 cm (about 20 x 20 inches).
-
Immediately wipe off the coating with a microfiber cloth (e.g., Gyeon Q²M PolishWipe EVO or SoftWipe EVO).
-
At higher temperatures, reduce the time between application and wiping.
-
Gyeon Q² PPF EVO forms a strong layer, so use an absorbent microfiber cloth. Choosing the right cloth is essential.
-
Work gradually over the entire car in sections.
-
Change microfiber cloths frequently during application to avoid leaving marks that may become permanent after drying. We recommend having 3 to 4 microfiber cloths available for polishing the coating.
-
Never let the microfiber cloth drop to the ground!
-
Ensure good lighting when applying; we recommend using a headlamp.
-
After successful application, let the car rest for at least 12 hours in a warm, dry place to allow the coating to cure properly.
-
Avoid washing the car for 2 weeks after application; rain does not harm the coating.
-
Maintenance after ceramic coating application is very simple—just wash the car with a quality shampoo such as Gyeon Q²M Bathe.
