Super hydrophobic coating with one-year protection—that’s CarPro Gliss. This is a completely new product designed as an additional top layer for CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings. It adds fantastic smoothness and antistatic properties to the high chemical resistance and durability of the ceramic coating. It significantly reduces dust adhesion and is resistant to mineral deposits from hard water, which otherwise clog ceramic coatings and degrade their functionality. The product is designed as a standalone coating or as an additional layer on an existing CQuartz coating protective layer. The surface is maximally water-repellent. The contact angle with water is 115°. The lifespan and durability of the ceramic coating are significantly increased. CarPro Gliss has a very simple and quick application and leaves no streaks. It is suitable for use with all CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings but can also be used on its own.

• 4x Suede microfiber cloths, 10 x 10 cm.

How to Use

• Before applying paint protection, ensure the paint is dry and decontaminated from airborne rust and tar.

• If necessary, perform mechanical paint decontamination using clay.

• The clay procedure is described in our article “Car waxing and its preparation.”

• Ceramic coatings must not be applied in direct sunlight or in a heated garage.

• Ideally, the paint should also be machine-polished if the car is not new.

• Just before applying the ceramic coating, degrease the paint, for example using Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.

• Always wear protective rubber gloves before application.

• CarPro Gliss can be applied no earlier than 4 hours after applying the CQuartz ceramic coating.

• Wrap the soft side of the application block with the included application cloth and drip an appropriate amount of product along the entire length of the block.

• Apply CarPro ceramic coating to an area of 50 x 50 cm, working section by section.

• Apply the product in two mutually perpendicular directions (crosswise) in a thin, continuous layer.

• After applying, you can immediately wipe off with a short-fiber microfiber cloth.

• Use multiple cloths; for one car, it is recommended to use up to 4 cloths. It is important that the cloth is dry and clean to ensure a flawless result.

• Rotate the application cloth once it becomes dusty.

• Replace it with a new one if both sides become dirty or if it begins to harden.

• Illuminate the surface well using an external light or a headlamp.

• Ideally, after 60 minutes or more, apply a second (or additional) layer of ceramic coating in the same manner for even greater durability. Applying multiple layers is not mandatory.

• Allow the vehicle to remain in a dry environment for 24 hours before first contact with water.

• Do not wash the car during the first week after application.

• To refresh the water-repellent layer after some time, occasionally use CarPro Reload.

• Subsequent maintenance after paint protection application is very simple—just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, such as CarPro Reset.
