Super hydrophobic coating with one-year protection — that’s CarPro Gliss. This is a completely new product designed as an additional top layer for CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings. It adds fantastic smoothness and antistatic properties to the high chemical resistance and durability of the ceramic coating. It significantly reduces dust adhesion and is resistant to mineral deposits from hard water, which otherwise clog ceramic coatings and degrade their functionality. The product is designed as a standalone coating or as an additional layer on an existing CQuartz protective coating. The surface is maximally water-repellent. The water contact angle is 115°. The lifespan and durability of the ceramic coating are significantly increased. CarPro Gliss has a very simple and quick application and does not leave streaks. It is suitable for use with all CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings but can also be used alone.

• 4x Suede microfiber cloths, 10 x 10 cm.

How to Use

• Before applying paint protection, the paint must be dry and decontaminated from dust rust and tar.

• If needed, perform mechanical paint decontamination using Clay.

• The clay process is explained in our article "Car waxing and its preparation."

• Do not apply the ceramic coating in direct sunlight or in a heated garage.

• Ideally, the paint should also be machine polished unless it is a new car.

• Just before applying the ceramic coating, the paint should be degreased, for example, using Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.

• Always wear protective rubber gloves before application.

• CarPro Gliss can be applied no sooner than 4 hours after applying the CQuartz ceramic coating.

• Wrap the soft side of the application block with the included applicator cloth and drip a suitable amount of the product evenly along the entire length of the block.

• Apply CarPro ceramic coating to an area of approximately 50 x 50 cm, working section by section.

• Apply the product in two perpendicular directions (crosshatch pattern) in a thin continuous layer.

• After applying, you can immediately wipe with a short-fiber microfiber cloth.

• Use multiple cloths; for one car, we recommend using up to 4 cloths. It is important that the cloth is dry and clean—only then will the result be flawless.

• Rotate the applicator cloth as soon as it gets dirty from dust.

• Replace it with a new one once both sides are dirty or if it starts to harden.

• Illuminate the surface well using external light or a headlamp.

• Ideally, after 60 minutes or more, apply a second (or additional) layer of ceramic coating the same way for even higher durability. Applying multiple layers is not mandatory.

• Allow the vehicle to remain in a dry environment for 24 hours before first contact with water.

• Do not wash the car during the first week after application.

• Occasionally use CarPro Reload to refresh the hydrophobic layer over time.

• After applying paint protection, car maintenance is very simple; just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, for example, CarPro Reset.
