How to Use

• Before applying the paint protection, the paint must be dry and decontaminated from airborne rust and tar.

• If necessary, perform mechanical decontamination using Clay.

• The clay detailing process is described in our article "Car waxing and preparation."

• Do not apply the ceramic coating under direct sunlight or in a heated garage.

• Ideally, the paint should be machine polished if the car is not new.

• Just before applying the ceramic coating, the paint must be degreased, for example, using Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.

• Always wear protective rubber gloves before application.

• Wrap the soft side of the application block with the provided applicator cloth and apply a suitable amount of product evenly along the entire length of the block.

• Apply the CarPro ceramic coating to an area of about 50 x 50 cm.

• Apply the product in two perpendicular directions (crosswise) in a thin, even layer.

• After application, wait briefly until the film is almost dry and the strokes on the paint show a rainbow effect.

• Ideally, test if the coating is dry by wiping the surface with a short-fiber microfiber cloth. If the product smears and doesn’t disappear, it’s too early. If a clean paint surface appears after wiping, it is the right time for complete wiping and polishing.

• Drying time depends on many factors (temperature, humidity, and type of paint). We recommend testing drying time on a small area, for example, a side mirror.

• Use multiple cloths—4 cloths per car are recommended. It is important to have a dry and clean cloth for flawless results.

• Rotate the applicator cloth once it gets dusty.

• Replace it with a new one when both sides are dirty or when it starts to harden.

• Properly illuminate the surface with an external light source or use a headlamp.

• Ideally, after 60 minutes (or longer), apply a second (or additional) layer of ceramic coating the same way for even greater durability. Multiple layers are not mandatory.

• If you miss wiping off the coating film somewhere, don’t worry. Excess can be removed within 1 hour using a newly dampened applicator with the coating.

• Before first contact with water, keep the vehicle in a dry environment for 24 hours.

• Do not wash the car during the first week after application.

• To enhance the water-repellent layer, use CarPro Reload one hour after application.

• After application, car maintenance is very simple—just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo such as CarPro Reset.
