How to Use
- Before applying the paint protection, the paint must be dry and decontaminated from rail dust and tar.
- If necessary, perform mechanical decontamination of the paint using Clay.
- The ceramic coating should not be applied in direct sunlight or in a heated garage.
- Ideally, the paint should undergo machine polishing if it's not a new car.
- Just before applying the ceramic coating, the paint needs to be degreased, for example using Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.
- Always wear protective rubber gloves before application.
- Wrap the soft side of the application block with the included application cloth and apply an appropriate amount of the product along the entire length of the application block.
- Always apply the CarPro ceramic coating to an area of approximately 50 × 50 cm.
- Apply the product in two perpendicular directions (crosswise) in a thin, continuous layer.
- After application, wait briefly until the film is almost dry and the strokes on the paint take on a rainbow-like appearance.
- Ideally, perform a drying test: wipe the surface after application with a short-fiber microfiber cloth. If the product smears and doesn't disappear, it's still too early. If wiping reveals clean paint, it's the right time for complete wiping and polishing.
- The drying time of the ceramic coating depends on temperature, air humidity, and paint type. We recommend testing first on a small part (e.g., side mirror).
- Use multiple cloths; up to 4 pieces for one car. The cloths must be dry and clean.
- Rotate the application cloth once it becomes contaminated with dust.
- After both sides are contaminated (or when it starts to harden), replace it with a new one.
- Illuminate the surface well using external light or use a headlamp.
- Ideally, after 60 minutes (or more), apply a second layer in the same way for higher durability. More layers are not necessary.
- If unwiped film remains somewhere, excess can be removed within 1 hour using a newly moistened applicator with coating.
- Before first contact with water, leave the vehicle for 24 hours in a dry environment.
- Don't wash the car for the first week after application.
- To enhance the water-repellent layer, use CarPro Reload one hour after application.
- Subsequent maintenance: Wash with a quality shampoo, such as CarPro Reset.
