How to Use

• Before applying paint protection, ensure the surface is dry and decontaminated from iron fallout and tar.

• If necessary, perform mechanical decontamination using Clay bar. You can find the clay bar process in our article “Car waxing and preparation.”

• Do not apply the ceramic coating in direct sunlight or in a heated garage.

• Ideally, the paint should be machine-polished if it is not new.

• Just before applying the ceramic coating, degrease the surface using, for example, Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.

• Always wear protective rubber gloves during application.

• Wrap the soft side of the application block with the provided cloth and apply an appropriate amount of product evenly along the block.

• Apply CarPro ceramic coating on an area of approximately 50 × 50 cm.

• Apply the product in two perpendicular directions (crosswise) in a thin, continuous layer.

• After application, wait briefly until the film is almost dry and the strokes show a rainbow effect.

• Ideally, test if the film is dry by wiping the surface with a short-fiber microfiber cloth. If the product smears and doesn’t disappear, it is too early. If after wiping a clean paint surface appears, it is the right time to fully wipe off and polish.

• Drying time depends on many factors (temperature, humidity, and paint type). We recommend testing drying time on a small area, for example, a side mirror.

• Use multiple cloths—4 cloths per car are recommended. It’s important to use a clean, dry cloth for flawless results.

• Rotate the cloth as soon as it becomes dirty with dust.

• Replace the cloth once both sides are dirty or if it starts to harden.

• Illuminate the surface well using external light or a headlamp.

• Ideally, after 60 minutes (or longer), apply a second (or additional) layer of ceramic coating the same way for extra durability. Multiple layers are not mandatory.

• If you miss wiping off the product film somewhere, don’t worry. Excess can be removed within an hour using a newly dampened applicator.

• Let the vehicle sit in a dry environment for 24 hours before the first contact with water.

• Do not wash the car for the first week after application.

• To boost the water-repellent layer, apply CarPro Reload one hour after coating.

• After applying the protection, maintenance is simple: just wash the car with a quality shampoo, such as CarPro Reset.
