Depending on quality, every protective film on a car (clear or graphic) has a limited lifespan, mainly due to aggressive UV radiation. The primary cause of limited lifespan is the aforementioned UV radiation, which gradually degrades the film material (vinyl in the case of colored full wraps and polyurethane in the case of clear films). This raises the question of whether it is possible to extend the lifespan of films. The solution is offered by CarPro in the form of the ceramic nano protection CQuartz Skin.

This product introduces a completely new ceramic coating technology, incorporating highly effective UV blockers capable of filtering both UVA and UVB radiation. How to Use

• Before applying protection, the surface must be dry and decontaminated from loose rust and tar.

• The ceramic coating must not be applied under direct sunlight or in a heated garage.

• Just before applying the ceramic coating, degrease the surface, e.g., using Gyeon Q2M Prep cleaner.

• Always wear protective rubber gloves before application.

• Wrap the soft side of the application block with the included application cloth and drop a sufficient amount of the product evenly along the length of the block.

• Apply the CarPro ceramic coating on an area of about 50 x 50 cm.

• Apply the product in two perpendicular directions (crosswise) in a thin, continuous layer.

• After application, wait 2 to 3 minutes until the film is nearly dry and the strokes develop a rainbow sheen.

• Ideally, test if the product film is dry by wiping the surface with a short-fiber microfiber cloth. If the product smears and doesn’t disappear, it’s too early. If wiping reveals a clean surface, it’s the right time for complete wiping and polishing.

• The drying time depends on many factors (temperature, humidity, film type). Test drying time first on a small part, like a side mirror.

• Use multiple cloths; for one car, we recommend using up to 4 cloths to keep them clean and dry for flawless results.

• Rotate the application cloth as soon as it gets dusty.

• Replace the cloth when both sides are dirty or the product starts to harden.

• Illuminate the surface well using external light or a headlamp.

• Ideally, after 60 minutes or more, apply a second (or additional) layer the same way for even higher durability. Multiple layers are not mandatory.

• If you miss wiping some areas and leave the product film, don’t worry. Excess can be removed within 1 hour using a newly moistened applicator.

• Before first contact with water, keep the vehicle in a dry environment for 24 hours.

• Do not wash the car for the first 3 to 5 days after application.

• Occasionally use CarPro Reload to refresh the water-repellent layer over time.

• After protection application, car maintenance is very simple — just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, such as CarPro Reset.
