How to Use
- Before using the clay itself, thoroughly wash the car with car shampoo.
- Wash the car in the shade and work with the clay in the same way, it should not be too hot.
- Body panels must be cool to the touch.
- Make a patty from the clay (pebble shape).
- Before use, briefly soak in lukewarm water.
- Spray a rather small amount of lubricant on the panel you want to clay and then start gently moving the clay over the moistened area back and forth.
- It must not run dry!
- At the beginning of claying, you can also hear the contamination as a gentle hum or whistle, which gradually disappears.
- After decontamination, check with your fingertips whether all contamination has really been removed.
- The paint must be completely smooth.
- Once you are sure that the paint is clean, dry the panel using a detailer and microfiber towel.
- On the clay itself you can see black or brown traces of decontamination, and that's what you want to see.
- Fold the clay often so that the dirt is inside and only clean clay ready for further use is visible.
- Clay bar will last to decontaminate at least 8 to 10 vehicles.
